LMS Development For An Online School

Context

The customer is one of the oldest online schools in US, continuously operating since 1999. They have also been awarded as one of the fastest-growing, privately-owned company in the Education Technology industry.

Client’s company strives to help students overcome social, economic, family and health barriers to achieve one of the most important milestones necessary to succeed in America. Their online program offers several options for students all the way from credit recovery to advanced placement. Our students come from all different demographics: public high schools, private high schools, rural schools and home schools.

Client’s company is a fully accredited online school providing NCAA-approved Courses, and over 400 high schools use client’s platform to provide over 175 courses to choose from.

Our client approached us to develop their LMS that allowed the students to access all courses on a single user-friendly platform through one single login.

Process

A collaborative process was set up within our team, and we opted for the Scrum development methodology for this project so we can provide frequent updates to client.

Our project communication modes include sprint planning and review meetings, as well as online meetings with the customer’s key decision-makers. We organized the mutual collaboration using the best of Agile methodology.

Results

The new Learning Management System has helped our client achieve great success.
